The Sanskrit word “Draksha” means grapes and “Asava” means distillate or extract. Drakshasav is a traditional Ayurvedic tonic prepared by fermentation method containing self-generated alcohol. It is beneficial for maladies such as digestive impairment, respiratory problems and weakness and exhaustion. It calms vata and pitta doshas.
