Information collection and use of Baidyanath, hereinafter referred to as Baidyanath ayurveda is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We are not going to sell, share, or rent this information to anyone in ways that are different from what is published here. Baidyanath ayurveda gathers our users information at different points on our website.

Membership:

Your billing and shipping address

Your telephone number

The type of credit card you are using if applicable

Your credit card number and expiration date, or other form of payment

Order:

When making a purchase we ask the customer for details on our order form. This is where a user will include their contact details, such as name and mailing address, and mailing information, such as credit card number and expiry date. This information is used for the purposes of billing and filling out the customer order. The contact information is used to get in touch with the customer if we have trouble in handling an order.

Cookies:

A cookie is a piece of data that is stored on the user’s hard drive and that includes user information. We use cookies both for session and persistent. Usage  of a cookie from our site is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.  By analyzing common areas and products to enhance potential interactions on our site, cookies allow us to track and target the interests of our users in the aggregate.

Usage Tracking:

Baidyanath Ayurveda database tracks the traffic all over our site. This information is used to compile overall statistics and is not individually recorded. This includes IP addresses (Internet Protocol), browser type, ISP (Internet Service Provider), referring/exit sites, platform sort, date/time stamp, and ‘clicks to examine patterns, administer the website, track the movement of users in the aggregate. The statistics help us determine which products and services best serve our members and guests.

Newsletters:

If a user wants to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask to provide contact details such as name and email address. We have a way to opt-out of these communications out of respect for our users privacy. Please see the section below on choosing and opting out. For special occasions a purely service-related announcement has to be sent. For example, if we temporarily suspend our service for maintenance we might send you an email. Users may not necessarily opt out of such messages, but you may be able to deactivate your account. Such messages, however, are not promotional in nature.

Security:

Baidyanath ayurveda takes every care to protect the information about our users.  Your information is secured online and off-line when users upload sensitive information through our website.

When our registration / order form asks users to enter confidential details (such as credit card number and/or social security number), this details is encrypted and secured by Stable Socket Layers (SSLs), the industry’s best encryption software. While a lock icon appears at the bottom of your Web browser when on a protected page, such as our order form. No lock icon will appear when you aren’t on a secure page.

If we plan to amend our privacy policy, we will post any changes to this Privacy Statement, the homepage and other places we find necessary so that our users are always aware of what information we gather, how we use it, and under what conditions, if any, we reveal it. In accordance with the privacy policy in which the information was obtained we will use the information.

However, if we use your personally identifiable information differently from what was mentioned at the time of collection we will notify you by email. You’ll have a choice as to whether or not we use your information that manner. However, if you prefer not to communicate with the site or delete / deactivate your account, you will not be contacted and your personal information will not be used in this new way. However, if we make any significant changes to our privacy policies that do not impact user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice notifying users of the change on our website. For certain situations where we post a note, we will also send email users who have chosen to receive emails from us and will inform them of the changes for our privacy practices
